Sounds like an argument for contraction OR a tiered system.


I'd love for the Pac and ACC to combine, and even invite some or all BigVII schools and make an upper division and lower division with promotion and relegation. To me, it is a fair and equitable way to do it over contraction. And more importantly, it creates more competition and more interest from networks.

We aren't going to out Iron Bowl the SEC and out Ohio State-Michigan the B1G. Gotta do something creative and bold.

But as you stated earlier, the status quo is not going to be sustainable for the ACC. Or the Pac12 for that matter.
